Reclamación a Hotmail

I want to know WHEN you will upgrade to 250 MB. You make the announce in June that all the free accounts will get 250MB, and we are at September and nothing happens. Gmail gives 1000MB, Yahoo! gives 100MB, and you only offer 2MB? Please, do something as soon as possible if you do not want a massive migration to one of those two free e-mail providers.

y el que me contestaron:

Thank you for writing to MSN Hotmail.

This is *********** and I am writing in response to your inquiry on the account size that is currently offered by Hotmail. I understand your confusion and I apologize for the inconvenience.

I have checked your account (*********@hotmail.com) and based on our current records, you're using 78.75% of your allowable 2MB storage size. We recognize that customers have a growing need to increase their storage size. Our product team is aware of this concern and has announced the latest Hotmail updates. This includes an upgrade to your storage size from 2 MB to 250 MB.

Beginning this fall, MSN will increase free MSN Hotmail account inbox storage by 125 times their current e-mail storage to 250MB as well as the ability to send attachments up to 10MB. Please be aware that you do not need to do anything! You will be upgraded automatically.

However, please understand that we have millions of subscribers and because of this, we are doing this upgrade by batches. I am sorry if it's taking time before your account is upgraded. MSN Hotmail is currently running tests to ensure a great customer experience with the upgrade in storage. At present, we do not have the exact date as to when the change will take effect into your account. Rest assured that this is on top of our priorities and so we are asking you to bear with us during this phase.

In addition to the upcoming storage changes, we've made other changes to improve your MSN Hotmail experience. We've expanded our anti-virus protection to include free virus cleaning, making MSN Hotmail the only free global e-mail service to both scan and clean incoming and outgoing e-mail for viruses and worms before they can enter your inbox and risk infecting your PC.

If you need additional storage now, you may want to consider MSN Hotmail Plus for $19.95 per year. This offer includes:

- 2GB (Gigabytes) of storage
- Ability to send attachments of 20MB
- No graphical advertisements
- Exemption from the 30-day Hotmail inactivity policy
- 30 MB of MSN Groups storage

If you have other concerns, please feel free to contact us again. Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

MSN Hotmail Technical Support
